The countdown and the choice around Blackline give the action real stakes. I especially liked how the system itself feels like another character.
Blackline was built to keep the city alive. Every vehicle, doorway, identity and emergency system runs through the network, until an entire district disappears from it overnight. No calls. No cameras. No official record that anything went wrong. Courier Jace Ryn is offered enough money to disappear for good if he can carry one offline data capsule across the blackout zone. The job has three rules: never open the capsule, never connect it to the network, and never let Blackline identify him. Jace breaks the first rule. The capsule contains no stolen data. It contains a single instruction signed by someone who should be dead: If Blackline comes back online, destroy the city.

Fast opening and a strong cyber-thriller atmosphere. The blackout, unmarked drone, and Package Zero mystery made me keep clicking.
